The following items can be collected for recycling in Southland:

Plastic Bottles (clean & flattened) - only with the symbols 1 or 2 stamped on the base i.e. kitchen,
laundry and bathroom bottles. Don't forget to wash, squash and replace caps.
- Glass Bottles and Jars (clean and unbroken). Discard lids and corks.
- Tin and Aluminum Cans (clean and flattened). Wash and squash. Empty aerosol cans also collected.
- Paper and Cardboard (flattened).
